The University of Nigeria Nsukka administration has verified the unfortunate passing of a freshman student whose deceased body was located in a drainage on Friday, July 5. The student, known as Favour Okenyi from the Medical Laboratory Science Department, was discovered close to Akanu Ibiam Stadium on the university grounds. A declaration released on Sunday in Nsukka by the university's Acting Public Relations Officer, Okwun Omeaku, validated the occurrence. The university community is profoundly shocked and saddened by the tragic passing of the young student.
