EBIE SALUTES DELTANS AT 35: PRAISES RESILIENCE AND PROGRESS

The Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Chiedu Ebie, has congratulated the Government and people of Delta State on the occasion of its 35th anniversary, describing the milestone as a testament to resilience, unity and steady progress.

In a statement, Ebie noted that 35 years of Delta’s existence reflects the sacrifices of founding fathers, the commitment of successive administrations, and the enterprise of Deltans at home and abroad who have continued to advance the state’s development.

He commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for driving development through the MORE Agenda, which prioritizes infrastructure, economic growth, human capital development and citizens’ welfare.

Ebie reaffirmed that the NDDC remains a strategic partner in Delta’s growth story. The Commission will continue to align its interventions with state priorities to deliver impactful roads, healthcare, education, power and youth empowerment projects across Delta communities.

He urged Deltans to use the anniversary to deepen unity and collective responsibility, stressing that the strength of the Niger Delta lies in its diversity and the determination of its people to build a prosperous future.

“On behalf of the Board, Management and Staff of the NDDC, I celebrate all Deltans. May the years ahead bring greater peace, opportunities and improved quality of life for every community,” Ebie stated.
