Nigerians repatriated from South Africa arrives Lagos

The first batch of Nigerians evacuated from South Africa in the wake of recent xenophobic attacks has arrived in Lagos.

A total of 268 returnees touched down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday aboard an Air Peace aircraft.

The repatriation exercise is part of ongoing efforts to safely return Nigerians impacted by the latest wave of violence and attacks against foreign nationals in certain areas of South Africa. South Africa Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
