“We must recognise that safeguarding our nation is a shared duty that requires the active participation of every patriotic citizen,” Aliyu stated.
He reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to continue providing the necessary support to security agencies in tackling banditry and other forms of criminality across the state.
Reflecting on the commencement of the new Islamic year, the governor called on Muslims to engage in introspection and evaluate their actions, acknowledging areas of progress while identifying aspects of their lives that need improvement.
Aliyu also urged the faithful to seek repentance, ask for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness, and recommit themselves to righteous conduct, stressing that Allah is Compassionate and Ever-Forgiving.
He further pledged his administration’s sustained backing for Islamic propagation and religious programmes throughout the state.
