JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Mop-Up Examination Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, said candidates who participated in the examination can now access their results through the board’s designated result-checking platforms.

Benjamin disclosed that the board would begin the ranking of candidates immediately after the release of the results.

According to him, “With the successful completion of the mop-up examination and the release of the results, the board will proceed with the ranking of candidates. Following this process, the printing of results required for admission purposes is expected to commence before the end of the week.”

The mop-up examination was held on June 13, 2026, to accommodate candidates who had been biometrically cleared for the main UTME but were unable to take the test due to technical issues, biometric verification problems, or other disruptions experienced at their examination centres.

The main 2026 UTME took place from April 16 to April 25.
