Kano 2027: NDC’s Gwarzo picks Kwankwaso’s son as running mate

The governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kano State, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has named Hon. Mustapha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as his deputy governorship candidate ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election.
The announcement was disclosed on Monday in a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Kwankwassiya Movement, Habeeb Saleh Mohammed.
According to the statement, “Hon. Mustapha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has been presented as the running mate to His Excellency Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo for the 2027 Kano State governorship election.”
Mustapha Kwankwaso is a businessman and politician and is the son of former Kano State governor and senator, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
