Lucy Frazer has lost her Ely and East Cambridgeshire seat to the Liberal Democrats
in the 2024 General Election, marking a significant loss for the Conservatives.
Frazer garnered 16,632 votes but was defeated by the Liberal Democrat candidate,
who received 17,127 votes. Labour trailed in third place with 1,960 votes.
Residents of Ely and East Cambridgeshire had nine candidates to choose from on their ballots,
representing major parties like the Conservatives, Greens, Labour,
Liberal Democrats, and Reform UK. Additionally,
the Social Democratic Party and the Official Monster Raving Loony Party fielded candidates,
along with two independents.
